Responsible for acting as a liaison between students and faculty to foster a welcoming and inclusive community. Representatives act as the first point of contact for student concerns or suggestions. Representatives also organize student communication, welcome incoming students, attend open houses, plan social activities, and host town hall meetings.

Responsible for creating the issue’s theme, guidelines for submission, and distributing “call for submissions”. Responsibilities also included organizing submissions, communicating with contributors, scheduling meetings, and managing each team (poetry, fiction, non-fiction, social media, and art), as well as designing the layout for the issue.

Responsible for the poetry team, which consisted of managing the work of the assistant editors. Responsibilities also included organizing submissions, accepting/rejecting submissions with the team, as well as communicating and editing with the contributors.

Gal Time Book Club – Co-Founder
2019-2020
·Co-founded Gal Time Book Club, an intersectional all-women (cis, transgender, genderqueer, previously identifying, etc.) book club where we read a diverse selection of books written by all genders, races, sexes, sexualities, and religions. The design of the book club was to foster a safe space for community and generative discussion, especially during the Covid-19 lockdown.
Created comprehensive packets on each book of the month as well as discussion material for each session. Responsibilities also included organizing and creating polling systems, spreadsheets, book catalogs, itineraries, group guidelines, community wellness, events, Slack moderation, and member recruitment.
Brand Personality, Logistics Assistant – EightTV: iOS App Startup
2015-2018
Worked with EightTV originally for app testing and brand ambassadorship 205-2019, mainly remote or at NYC events. Worked with the brand and dev team on location in 2017 at Draper Hero City Campus (San Mateo, CA) as the platform’s primary brand personality and logistics assistant.
Tasks included scriptwriting, social media marketing and engagement, on-app promotion, user retention, and back-end fulfillment of orders. Tasks also included on-camera filming for commercials and episodes of The Daily Drop mini-series on the app.
Brand Ambassadorship was featured in Mashable, ProductHunt, and Snapchat. The App was also featured on Apple TV’s Planet of the Apps and received funding from Gary Vaynerchuk.
Curatorial Assistant, Event Organization Assistant – US+U Contemporary Art Gallery
2015-2016
Worked with the curator and gallery owner to organize shows, constructed venue layouts, and managed viewing hours for the main gallery.
Organized and scheduled events with the gallery, including Yonkers Art Weekend, Fashion Institute of Technology’s South Street Seaport pop up, and Art Basal Miami FIT/USU trip. Work also included independently managing the gallery for day viewings, constructing and deconstructing exhibitions, and leading events such as “drink-n-draw” at Yonkers Brewery for Yonkers Arts Weekend.
